A day at the seaside - sort of

I know the Essex coastline isn't renowned for its beauty, but the mud flats certainly have their own unique charm, even if the sea is virtually too far away to see. There's nothing like a slide on the mud hunting for crabs. The remote little church at Bradwell, home to an annual pilgrimage, seems a million miles away from the old nuclear power station looming behind it.
