Wedding Workshop

A while ago I popped along to the Vintage Style Hire and Violets and Velvet workshop to take a few photos and learn a lot too! It was a great day held at Hammer Hill Barn, home to Vintage Style Hire and Violets and Velvet. A barn full of wonderfulness - vintage bits and pieces wherever you look, beautiful flowers and all in the middle of the Essex countryside.

Kate talked about styling, mood boards and clever tricks to make old tables and frames look fabulous. She really has got a gift for making something that most people would put in a skip look like it cost a fortune! Then Sam showed us beautifully, simple table displays and how to make our own hand-tied bouquet.

All this as well as delicious Chateau Macaron macarons, stunning Nila Holden cookies and biscuits, Love Little Cakes cakes, including the most delicious fig and honey cake I have ever eaten, and a lovely lunch as well. I left feeling that I had met some great people as well as being completely spoilt!
